Well recently i decided to part away from Skullcandy, it was for better.

What made me take this decision was that i am just looking for another kind of support, don’t want to go in to details, the split was on good terms.

I just got back from the first Dew Tour, it was a really crazy event, the weather in Chicago didn’t help at all, we had wind and showers storms during the whole week, defiantly not a good to be riding on the windiest city in the United States. But the whole event came trough successfully.
In Vert i ended up in 6th Place.

Even knowing that the weather conditions weren’t the best, the crowd was awesome, and i saw ton’s of BMX fans!

It was really stressful to see the crazy wind blowing trough the hole week, and the think that we were going to compete in that same wind, but thanks god whenever they started Vert finals the wind magically disappear, i couldn’t believe it, it was the best thing out of the whole weekend, and it stayed like that until Dirt finals right after vert finals. So at the end i had fun i rode the way i wanted ” priceless” so stoked, in saturday morning i had the chance to go around downtown and shoot some pictures, the whole trip was just another different experience, there is always something new to learn about everything, it never ends.

Guam Vans trip.

Date: May 27 - Jun 3
Vans decided to to this demo in the Island of Guam, such an amazing place.

Is an island in the western Pacific Ocean near Indonesia and Japan and is an organized, unincorporated territory of the United States.
About 12 people from vans including team managers and riders:
We went out there to visit the Navy base of the United States, Next was holding the customer appreciation day, and what a better way to celebrate than bringing all their prices down and bring almost the hole team vans iin to guam.

Nate wessel and Ryan Corrigan build this sweet set up; Box jump with a quarter pipe right next to a bank to wall and a 11 ft half pipe! such an amazing set up!

lots of people came out, we had such an awesome session.

soon as we were done with the “hard work” we went around the island, hitting a couple of spots to snorkel.
The watter out there was awesome, you could see like 30 feet’s ahead of you!

Journeys Backyard BBQ Demo 2010-Nashville.

The saturday may/5/2010, the hole vans team got together for the big demo Journeys Backyard BBQ Tour 2010.

this was one of the stops of the hole tour, and Vans was incharged to put up the main show.

All it took was a big and smooth Vert ramp, loud ppl and the Vans team.
Part of the team was: Me, Steve Cab, Christian Hosoi, Bucky Lasek, Dennis McCoy, Josh Borden, Omar Hassan, Tony Alva, Mimi Knoop and more…..

We had the chance to do some PR, like morning news, when i say morning i mean freaking early!!!!! and the hole team went out to visit the Vanderbilt Children’s hospital.
That hospital visit was one of the coolest experience i’ve had, It shocked me to see all this innocent young kids going through really though situations, every one of them was at the hospital for different reasons, some of them were the for only a couple of days but other’s were there for a couple of week’s or even month’s.

Defiantly was a blessing having the chance to spent some time with them and give them some gift’s that vans had prepared, and just get to know them and see them with a bright smile on their faces Made me realize how blessed i am to have a healthy body like many others, and at the same time, how dumb we are that we don’t even realize about it, sometime the smallest problems are the worst thing that could ever happened to us, we live in a selfishness world of progression, where be completed means to be successful, but not for any of those kids. Actually our problems are not really problems for them, they really have to face real situations, i give big props to them, wish them the best on they recovery, and I’ll praying for you BOYS.

X-Games- China, Shanghai.

In May 24 - May 31, Shanghai hosted the Asian X-Games.
Probably one of the best contest I’ve been to.

It was awesome to being able to visit the city of Shanghai, i had the chance to ride my bike at the biggest skatepark in the world (SMP), tour around the metropolis and visit the world expo that was being hosted at the same time as X-games.
I entered to compete on Vert and this new discipline called Mini megaramp, witch is just like a “giant shrimp”.
In vert I ended up tight for 3rd place that means 4th haha.
In Mini Megaramp I ended up 6th place.

	This year L.A hosted the X-Games 15, just like the past years.
	It was a great event, i got the blessing of being one of the top 10 bmx vert riders invited.
	there was bmx street, bmx super park, bmx vert and bmx super park.
	beside all that they had, skateboard super park and street and vert, rally cars racing, fmx, fmx best trick,

fmx high air and super moto.
	the hole event was amazing, through ESPN they covered 172 countries a live.
	Lot’s of people watching, the level of the riders was ridiculous.

Dew Tour.

	Hi every one.

Here is a little update about the first two the Dew Tour in Chicago and Portland.

	Chicago.
	i got 9th place in chicago, it was a nice contest. too bad that right before the comp i got this really bad neck pain, but after going to the trainers a few times it went away thanks god, beside that  in prelims i qualify 3 place, really stoked on that i wasn’t aspecting it.

I went for a pedal around the city one of the nights to shoot some pics, it came out really cool, we were staying right in down town, Chicago is known for having one of the coolest looking down towns.
	
	
	
	Portland.

 was really fun, i got 9th place, i wasn’t very happy with that result but at least i did what i wanted to do, am still healthy and riding so i cant complain, plus the level is growing the riders are getting really god, is crazy but well thanks god that trip was successful, i made finals, and i got aired on national TV, and i did 2 lil interviews for MTV2, and we did a autograph signing session at the vans store that totally made up my weekend on portland.
	one of the nights i went out shoots some photos of the city, it was fun. such an awesome city.
















Vans Book realease party

	About a week ago, Vans released  a book that tells the hole history about the company, and to celebrate that they did a big party at the corporate office. where they had the bmx team (Colin Mackay, Chase Hawk, Josh Harrington,me and Martin Aparijo)  skate team too, we put a good demo together with some band’s playing and food, drinks, and Steve’s Vandoren new custom van.
	
	after that we head out to Cory Nastazio’s JAM one day early, just so we could stop by Magic Mountain to ride in the roller coasters, is really funny cause in 2 weeks i ve been to 2 roller coasters parks so sick!!!!.

Well after that we hit Woodward West, they made a special session for all the riders that came for Nasty’s JAM (thanks to woodward west again/debbie).
	while we were driving we saw this crazy truck, on  the side of the road!

ASA cincinnati contest.

	On may 22 trough the 24, i went  to the ASA  Vert contest in Cincinnati, Ohio.
	It was really really fun, it was an sk8 and BMX vert contest, there was lots of good riders and here are all the results from the event.

	thanks god i didnt crashed once, and i end up on 5th place, i am super happy with that.
	The hole contest was hosted at Kings Island (roller coaster park).
	That sunday night some of the  people  from the event took us in  all the rides, and they even  put us in front of the line of every ride we went in.
	On top of all that fun stuff, we stayed at the  Great Wolf Lodge(hotel) wich it was the nicest hotel ever, the rooms were really big and the hotel had a indoor water park ,it was amazying here are some photos!
