Hello every one.
I just got back from Japan last tuesday with some of the guys from the vans team,(Bucky Lasek, Omar Hussan, Josh Boarden were the Skaters, and Scotty Cramner, Ryan Guettler,Colin Mackay , Michael Steingrabber and me the bmx/flatland.) we went to do a demo at the Atsugi naval air facility, JAPAN (military base).
We spend 7 day over all, 3 days on the base doing some little shows for the kids a two different elementary schools and one big demo on saturday, and 3 other days touring around Tokyo.
During those 3 days we got to see all the differents hangars full of planes and helicopters that they had for the war, and we got on board of an aircraft carrier (George Washington) one of the biggest!, it was really awesome, such a blessing being able to see all that, i took a lot’s of pictures.
Gallery 1.
on that 3 day at the base we did the big demo, on some ramps that Nate wessel and ryan corrigan built. Sick box jump, with one quarter pipe on each side, one to get speed and one to stop.
Soon as we were done we head out from the base straight in to Tokyo down town, as a first impression it was amazing, not to crowded , but after walking one block we saw people all over the place, the hole city was really clean and dialed, really nice culture and the people very fashioned even more than new york.
We spend that hole time touring around and trying different restaurants, we went out to buy souvenirs to the craziest stores, you could find anything you want, electronics, ton’s of toy’s all over the place.
we went to this old temple, that was a big market for tourist people, we even got to se a show of a monkey walking on his hands and jumping some really sick gaps hahah. CRAZY STUFF!
i hope you guys like the photos.
Here is the gallery 2.
